Let me tell you a little more about how I know this works, and WHY I do what I do.

My Weight Loss Journey… 
Before I was successful at finally losing the weight and keeping it off and healing my relationship with food, I felt like I was on an emotional diet rollercoaster for much of my life.  I was bullied in grade school for having a belly that hung over my pants like a beer gut. In college, I used to grab onto my growing belly fat with my hands and named it my Buddha belly – trying to deflect discomfort with humor. My chin had its own chins and I hated taking pictures of myself because I would simply hone in on how many chins my face was showing. I used food to satisfy and stuff my emotions. I was so unhappy in my skin.

This pattern continued for many years. My experience with food throughout my life often came with negative emotions. It was either self-criticism, fat-bashing, self-loathing, or guilt. Lots and lots of guilt. Everything that went into my mouth was analyzed by my brain and my self talk was less than stellar: “That was so not worth the calories.” “You are so fat for eating that pizza.” “Time to go run 5 miles.” “I feel so gross.” “You’re ugly.”
One day I woke up and said enough is enough. I can’t live like this anymore. And that’s when I decided to get off the diet rollercoaster for good.

Staying overweight was not an option. Being unhealthy and shortening my lifespan was not an option. Constantly obsessing about my weight was not an option. I was all in.
 
So I began to educate myself on holistic nutrition and mindset and how it affects different body types, learning what would actually work for me (and why the things I’d tried in the past didn’t work out). 

I implemented all of the principles I’ve been teaching you up until this point.

And I did it: I finally lost the weight for good and felt confident in my body.
 
This was my turning point.
 
After this, I realized I HAD to help others do the same. So I became a Holistic Nutritionist & Emotional Eating Coach, who specializes in sustainable weight loss through blood sugar & hormone rebalancing as well as emotional eating and food psychology, helping women heal their relationship with food.
